To ensure we deliver improved benefit-to-risk solutions, we will guide and expect the market and design requirement specifications underlying our engineering, business development, and clinical research activities, objectively target advancements in standards of care.\nJob Summary of the Sr. Construction Engineer\nThe Sr. Construction Engineer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing capital construction projects to ensure they are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, GMP requirements, and quality standards. This position serves as a technical resource during all phases of construction, collaborating with project managers, contractors, architects, engineers, operations, quality, EH&S, and facility teams to resolve engineering and construction challenges while ensuring successful project delivery.\nRequirements of the Sr. Construction Engineer\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a related engineering discipline.\nMinimum of 5 years of construction engineering, project engineering, or related experience preferably in a regulated industry such as medical devices, biologics, tissue-based products, or pharmaceuticals.\nDemonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects of varying size, complexity, and lifecycle stage.\nKnowledge of design and construction process and methods, materials, engineering principles, and project management practices.\nKnowledge of GMP regulations, commissioning and qualification practices, and change management processes within regulated manufacturing environments.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.\nProficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office).\nExperience with engineering and construction software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Primavera P6, Bluebeam\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.\nOSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred).\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to walk, stand, climb ladders, and navigate active construction sites for extended periods.\nAbility to perform field inspections in various weather conditions.\nCapability to bend, kneel, crouch, and access confined or elevated work areas when required.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.\nVisual acuity sufficient to review construction drawings, inspect work quality, and operate standard office equipment.\nAbility to travel between project sites as required.\nResponsibilities of the Sr. Construction Engineer\nThe specific duties of the Sr. Construction Engineer include but are not limited to:\nProvide engineering support for capital construction projects from conceptual planning through commissioning and project closeout.\nReview project designs, drawings, specifications, and construction documents for accuracy, constructability, GMP compliance, potential utility impacts, and adherence to applicable engineering standards\nIdentify impacts to facility utilities and coordinate with facility maintenance team to develop and execute required modifications, outages, and mitigation plans.\nCollaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, subcontractors, Operations, Quality, EH&S, and regulatory agencies to define project requirements, scope, schedules, and execution strategies.\nSupport change control processes, impact assessments, and documentation associated with facility modifications in regulated manufacturing environments.\nCoordinate construction activities within active manufacturing environments while minimizing operational disruptions and maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.\nMonitor project scope, schedule, budget and resource;
