It means helping shape the future of emergency response and building a safer, more connected world.\n* This role will be hybrid: 4x a week in the NY office.\nYour Impact\nLead network projects, including network establishment, upgrades, expansions, and migrations.\nConfigure and maintain traditional networking infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls and Cisco switches and routers, and implement security best practices.\nMonitor network performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability in a mission-critical live system.\nThrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities while resolving complex problems independently.\nCollaborate with vendors and service providers to build and resolve network-related challenges.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.\nWhat You'll Do\nWe are currently seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our Global Operations team. In this role, you will focus primarily on network design and Infrastructure as Code, helping us scale the network that powers our innovative public safety products for national first responder systems (911) and government sectors worldwide. You will play a key part in designing, deploying, and supporting the infrastructure that delivers the highest level of service to our customers 24/7.\nWhat You Bring\nCloud Network Engineering (top priority): Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking, including VPCs, Direct Connect, Route 53, and ingress/egress traffic flow.\nTraditional Networking: Solid foundation in TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VPNs, and DNS. Experience with Cisco and Fortinet equipment and SD-WAN solutions is a plus.\nExperience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, preferably in a fast-paced or critical service environment.\nResponsibilities: Network design and deployment, with support as needed.\nTroubleshooting Skills: Ability to analyze network logs, perform packet captures, and track down root causes for production issues.
