You’ll own critical hardware designs from architecture through production, solve complex technical challenges, and collaborate with engineering teams across the globe.\nThis is an opportunity to have significant technical ownership while helping shape products used in demanding real-world public safety environments. You’ll also help grow the technical capabilities of the team by sharing your expertise and mentoring other engineers.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWork Location: This role is based out of our Timisoara Office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success. \nOwn the end-to-end electrical design and delivery of vehicle-based video hardware, from requirements and system architecture through verification, release, and production.\n\nResearch, propose, and develop innovative embedded electronic designs for next-generation vehicle-based video products, wired and wireless devices, and low-power accessories.\n\nProvide technical direction and coordination to project electrical engineers and design partners to ensure hardware deliverables are completed successfully and on schedule.\n\nDesign complex mixed-signal embedded electronics, integrating application processors, image sensors, high-speed memory, digital communication interfaces, RF transceivers, power-management devices, and protection circuitry.\n\nPartner with PCB Design Engineers to define, review, and optimize multilayer HDI rigid, rigid-flex, and flex PCB layouts.\n\nLead hardware bring-up, characterization, optimization, and debugging using laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, power supplies, and multimeters.\n\nCollaborate with RF Engineers to integrate and validate wireless technologies including LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GNSS.\n\nAnalyze design performance and test results, identify technical risks, and drive design improvements through simulation, measurement, and iteration.\n\nDevelop and finalize Bills of Materials and other technical documentation required for product release and mass production.\n\nShare technical knowledge, mentor other engineers, and contribute to raising the overall engineering capabilities of the team.\n\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar engineering discipline, with 7+ years of industry experience in embedded electronics design, including significant experience with high-speed, high-density vehicular or automotive embedded systems.\n\nStrong hands-on experience owning complex embedded electronics designs across multiple areas such as application processors/SoCs, DDR4/DDR5 memory, power systems and PMICs, audio, RF integration, Ethernet/USB and other wired interfaces, sensors, and rigid/flex PCB technologies.\n\nProven ability to lead electronics development from concept through verification and mass production, including system architecture, component selection, schematic design, PCB layout management, design verification, debugging, and BOM development.\n\nStrong experience with embedded power systems and RF integration, including technologies such as LTE, Wi-Fi and GNSS, as well as troubleshooting signal integrity, noise, and EMI challenges in automotive or vehicular environments.\n\nStrong hands-on laboratory and schematic design skills, with experience using tools such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters, and industry-standard design platforms; Cadence/OrCAD and Allegro experience is preferred.\n\nAbility to operate independently while collaborating effectively across geographically distributed, cross-functional engineering teams and external design partners, demonstrating ownership, technical leadership, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.\n\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
