This role requires strong analytical skills and deep familiarity with the product algorithms, contributing across product development: performing data analysis, defining and documenting algorithms, and delivering production-quality solutions that meet customer needs.\nYou will be working in a dynamic and continuous learning environment, with highly cooperative colleagues, and you will feel a part of a highly skilled technical community.\n Responsibilities:\nData ingestion & ETL: Build robust Python-based pipelines to collect, clean, validate, and join large datasets from multiple sources (APIs, logs, databases, files).\n\nData quality & troubleshooting: Detect, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies and integrity issues; implement automated validation and monitoring.\n\nData analysis & reporting: Analyze datasets to uncover trends and actionable insights; produce repeatable reports and dashboards for stakeholders.\n\nDashboards & visualizations: Develop and maintain dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent) and programmatic visualizations for product and business teams.\n\nCollaboration: Work closely with product and engineering to translate business requirements into data solutions, instrumentation, and KPIs.\n\nPredictive modeling & ML: Design, train, evaluate, and deploy statistical models and machine learning solutions (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.) to forecast trends and support decision-making.\n\nPerformance & scalability: Optimize queries and data workflows (SQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB) for low-latency and high-throughput environments.\n\nPrototyping & research: Rapidly prototype algorithms and analyses in Python (or MATLAB when needed) and turn prototypes into production-ready code.\n\n Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Telecommunications, or related field (advanced degree a plus).\n\nAt least 3 years of work experience.\nStrong production experience developing in Python (data engineering, analysis, and/or ML).\n\nProficient with SQL and experience with ClickHouse and MongoDB (or similar).\n\nExperience collecting, analyzing, and reporting data from lab and production systems.\n\nExperience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).\n\nFamiliarity with data mining and machine learning algorithms and libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).\n\nExperience prototyping algorithms in Python (MATLAB experience a plus).\n\nSoft Skills.Analytical Capabilities, Critical thinking, Problem solving, Eager to learn, and Proactive.\nPlanning and Organizational skills, Active listening, Communication skills.\nTeamwork, autonomous.\nCustomer and results orientation.\n\nFluency in both English and Spanish\nAbility to work in hybrid in Madrid. \n Nice-to-Have:\nKnowledge of statistical signal processing or communication systems.\nExperience with Wi-Fi or networking technologies.\nExperience deploying ML models and building monitoring for model performance.\nFamiliarity with cloud data platforms and orchestration tools (Airflow, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure).\n Benefits:\nA competitive salary and incentive plan.\nFlexible schedule, including telecommuting.\nFree parking or transportation card (Pluxee transport pass).\nMeal card (Pluxee restaurant pass)\nPrivate medical insurance (for the whole family).\nThe opportunity of working in an international environment.\nPTO for birthday\nOnly applications submitted in English will be reviewed or considered for this position.\nJoin AXON Networks!\nAt AXON Networks, we promote equal opportunities in all our recruitment processes, ensuring non-discrimination on the basis of gender, age, origin, disability, or any other personal circumstances.
