We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.\nReports to: Lead DSP Engineer\nKey Responsibilities:\nRF Spectrum Analysis:Perform advanced analysis and feature extraction from RF signals using Software Defined Radio (SDR) frameworks and other state-of-the-art tools. Write prototype code in Python or Matlab to proof concepts.\n\nDesign and Implementation:Develop and optimize real-time signal-processing algorithms in C++ and CUDA to detect, classify, and locate drones within RF spectrum data. Ensure scalability and performance of the software in real-world applications.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration:Work with hardware, software, and data fusion teams to integrate DSP components seamlessly into larger systems, contributing to end-to-end solutions.\n\nMentorship and Leadership:Act as a technical resource and mentor for junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.\n\nContinuous Improvement:Stay updated on advancements in DSP, SDR, and wireless communication to identify new tools, techniques, and approaches that enhance system capabilities.\n\nDocumentation and Communication:Create detailed technical documentation for developed algorithms and processes.Present findings, updates, and project milestones to stakeholders appropriately.\n\nTool Development and Maintenance:Develop utilities in Python and C++ for testing, data analysis, and algorithm validation, ensuring maintainability and robustness.\n\nWhat You Bring\nMaster’s, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant experience.\n\nRobust expertise in digital signal processing, including modulation methods, frequency analysis, and digital filters.\n\nProficiency in C++ and Python, with experience in developing real-time systems and prototyping signal processing algorithms.\n\nSolid knowledge of wireless communication systems such as LTE PHY, IEEE802.11 (Wi-Fi), and IEEE802.15.4.\n\nExemplary problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts successfully.\n\nDon’t meet every single requirement?
