This role works closely with business stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and support partners to investigate issues, drive resolutions, improve monitoring, and implement operational efficiencies.Success in this role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, curiosity, and a willingness to continuously learn new technologies and business processes. Technical aptitude is important, but the ability to think critically, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of problems is equally important.\nKey Responsibilities\nParticipate in production support activities for business-critical applications, services, and integrations.\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application, system, and service issues across multiple environments.\nMonitor application and infrastructure health, analyze alerts, and identify opportunities to improve monitoring coverage.\nWork collaboratively with business users, developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and support partners to drive issue resolution and project implementation.\nPerform system maintenance, configuration changes, and operational support activities.\nImplement fixes, configuration updates, and operational improvements for internally developed and vendor-supported applications.\nTrack, document, and communicate technical issues, risks, and remediation efforts.\nAnalyze trends, recurring incidents, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for stability and performance improvements.\nParticipate in release validation, testing support, and change management activities.\nContribute to automation initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.\nDevelop and maintain operational documentation, support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system runbooks.\nAssist in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements for system enhancements and operational improvements.\nWork with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.\nSupport project initiatives by conducting research, analysis, testing, documentation, and operational readiness activities.\nParticipate in incident response activities, bridge calls, root cause analysis, and post-incident improvement efforts.\nContinuously learn new technologies, platforms, and business processes to expand support capabilities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nTechnical Skills\nExperience using ticketing, incident management, or change management systems.\nExperience supporting web applications, APIs, SFTP, and enterprise software platforms.\nExperience supporting pipelines via ADO/GitHub.\nExperience supporting a Windows server environment.\nFamiliarity with monitoring and observability tools.\nExperience reviewing logs and troubleshooting production incidents.\nBasic understanding of networking, servers, cloud platforms, databases, and application architecture.\nExperience with scripting, automation, or process improvement initiatives is a plus.\nProfessional Skills\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to remain calm and organized during incidents and high-pressure situations.\nStrong customer-service mindset.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.\nCuriosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn.\nTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.\nAbout Axos\nBorn digital-first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
