We will train the Tealium-specific skills on the job.Core Responsibilities\nBuild and maintain pixels and EventStream/AudienceStream connectors across web and app properties\nCreate and populate data layer variables sourced from the DOM, and map them correctly to connector attributes for downstream platforms\nDebug tracking and API errors (malformed requests, failed connector calls, mismatched data types) and resolve root cause\nSupport ongoing tag and connector maintenance as new marketing use cases are added\nRequired Skills\nSolid JavaScript fundamentals, including DOM manipulation and event handling\nUnderstanding of frontend vs. backend data flow (what runs client-side vs. server-side, and why it matters for tracking)\nComfortable reading and troubleshooting API requests/responses (status codes, payload structure, common failure modes)\nUnderstanding of basic data types and structures (strings, objects, arrays, nested JSON) and how mismatches cause integration errors\nStrong debugging instincts, comfortable using browser dev tools (console, network tab) to trace an issue\nPreferred (Not Required)\nExperience with Tealium, or any tag management system (GTM, Adobe Launch, etc.)\nExperience with marketing/analytics tracking (GA4, Meta Pixel, conversion APIs)\nExposure to REST API integration work\nWhat You'll Learn On the Job\nTealium's TIQ tag management platform, EventStream/AudienceStream architecture, and how our marketing data pipeline connects to downstream platforms.
