Working closely with Finance leaders, Product Owners, Project Managers, Enterprise Architecture, Data, Integrations and other IS teams, you will translate business priorities into secure, scalable and sustainable solutions that support 74Software’s transformation.\nAbout the IS Business Systems Team\nThe 74Software Information Systems function provides shared, business-critical platforms and services across the Group. The Business Systems organisation partners with teams across Finance, HR, Procurement, Sales, Customer Support, R&D and Services to simplify processes, strengthen controls and enable data-driven operations.\nLocation: Sofia, Bulgaria\nWork model: Hybrid\nResponsibilities\nTeam Leadership\nBuild, lead and develop an international team of business systems professionals focused on finance solutions, particularly Workday Finance. \nSet clear objectives, establish priorities and create accountability for team and individual outcomes. \nCoach team members, support professional development and promote knowledge sharing and succession planning. \nFoster a culture of collaboration, high performance, inclusion and continuous improvement. \nDelivery and Product Lifecycle Management\nOwn the end-to-end lifecycle of finance applications, from demand intake and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, support and optimisation. \nPrioritise and plan team activities with Product Owners, Project Managers and business stakeholders. \nBalance strategic initiatives, operational needs and technical debt to create realistic plans and dependable delivery commitments. \nEnsure projects and enhancements are delivered on time, to the required quality and in line with agreed scope and governance. \nEstablish meaningful service, delivery and quality measures, and use them to improve team performance and stakeholder visibility. \nTechnical Excellence, Operations and Reliability\nPromote robust configuration, testing, documentation and release-management practices across the finance systems landscape. \nMaintain platform stability and service continuity, including effective incident, problem and change management. \nLead or support root-cause analysis for significant issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions are completed. \nIdentify opportunities to simplify processes, automate repetitive work and improve user experience. \nMaintain a transparent view of technical debt and agree remediation priorities with business and technical stakeholders. \nStakeholder Partnership\nAct as a trusted interface between Finance and IS, translating business needs into clear requirements, priorities and solution decisions. \nBuild effective relationships with Finance leaders, IS Business teams, Enterprise Architecture, Data, Integration, Security and external partners. \nCommunicate plans, risks, dependencies and decisions clearly to senior stakeholders and governance forums. \nResolve competing priorities constructively and create alignment across business and technology teams. \nGovernance, Security and Innovation\nEnsure solutions comply with 74Software requirements for security, confidentiality, access control, data governance, auditability and regulatory compliance. \nApply enterprise architecture principles and IS governance to solution design, investment and lifecycle decisions. \nMonitor technology and Workday product developments, assess their business value and recommend an appropriate roadmap. \nDrive responsible adoption of AI-enabled capabilities for Workday Finance in partnership with Architecture, Data and Integration teams. \nWork with the relevant technical teams to establish reliable deployment, monitoring, operational support and lifecycle practices for AI and automation capabilities. \nManage relevant vendors and partners, including service quality, delivery expectations and commercial performance where applicable. \nQualifications\nRequired\nProven people-management experience leading and developing an IT/IS, enterprise applications or business systems team in an international organisation. \nStrong experience with enterprise finance systems or ERP platforms; hands-on knowledge of Workday Financial Management is highly desirable. \nDemonstrated ownership of business-critical applications across delivery, operations, support and continuous improvement. \nSound understanding of finance processes such as accounting, procurement, project accounting, planning, reporting or related controls. \nExperience prioritising a portfolio of projects, enhancements, incidents and technical debt while managing delivery risks and dependencies. \nStrong stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders and translate between functional and technical audiences. \nWorking knowledge of SaaS governance, integrations, data management, security, access controls, audit and compliance expectations. \nStrong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic and accountable leadership style. \nFluent written and spoken English. \nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. \nPreferred\nExperience configuring, implementing or supporting Workday Finance, Procurement, Project Accounting, Adaptive Planning or Financial Reporting. \nExperience working with enterprise integrations, reporting or data platforms such as Workday Studio, APIs, Snowflake or Microsoft Power BI. \nExposure to AI-enabled business applications, automation or MLOps operating models. \nExperience managing external implementation partners, software vendors or managed-service providers. \nWorkday, ITIL, Agile, project-management or relevant finance-system certification. \nLeadership Profile\nSuccess in this role requires a leader who can set direction while remaining close enough to delivery to make informed decisions.
