As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the founding team as we design, build and launch the first comprehensive digital solution for GI (and expanding to more conditions) that delights users and delivers real, tangible results for patients. You’ll report to our Head of Engineering.\nIn this role, you will\nPartner with the founding team to develop and execute Ayble’s technical roadmap.\n\nHelp us stay on the cutting edge, bringing innovative ideas into our product, and incorporating AI where it makes sense to enhance our product features.\n\nAdd new features to our web and mobile apps, including contributing to our API, and integrations with third-party vendors, enterprise clients and others.\n\nAdopt and integrate infrastructure (AWS, databases, etc) to add product functionality dedicated to designing services for operability and observability.\n\nDevelop, launch and monitor internal planning, grooming & iterations process to inform our progress along our technology roadmap.\n\nHelp guide strategic business decisions from a technological standpoint, focused on scalability, security (HIPAA, SOC2) and compliance requirements.\n\nWork with our Head of Data Science to build our tool for scale, including database architecture and AI/ML infrastructure.\n\nWho we’re looking for\nWe index more on your experience and hustle than a college degree from a shiny institution. This role would be a good fit for you if you have the following…\n6+ years of professional experience as a software engineer\n\nExperience with AI coding tools to build more efficient processes\n\nStrong understanding of LLM technology and ability to leverage LLMs in product features.\n\nNimble, agile, self-starter, with a growth mindset\n\nExemplary communication, project management, and teamwork skills; able to explain solutions to non-technical teammates\n\nExperience with API integrations\n\nExperience using AWS (or GCP) and infrastructure as a service to build cloud native applications\n\nExperience with our stack: React, React Native, Python, PostgreSQL\n\nTechnologies we use: FastAPI, Arq, Redis, NumPy, SciPy, experience in at least one Cloud Provider between Amazon AWS or Google Cloud, modern tooling (Docker, Github, Lambda/Cloud Functions)\n\nPluses:\nExperience with medical, healthcare and/or population health data.
