This person will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the dispensary and handling the needs of all patients/customers. In conjunction with the Store Manager, this role is responsible for hiring and developing a team of highly motivated individuals who are passionate about cannabis and compliant with state and local rules and regulations.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nOversee and perform all functions associated with management and oversight of a retail medical marijuana dispensary operating under licensure from the appropriate entity\nAdminister routine inspections to maintain the accurate inventory of all cannabis products.\nManage and supervise the activities of dispensary staff and make recommendations or decisions regarding hiring, discipline, termination, or advancement of employees.\nEnsure that all Procedures are updated in store to provide the best practice for staff and patients\nTrain dispensary staff to ensure a consistent performance and knowledge base of company standard operating procedures, a comprehensive understanding of all marijuana and marijuana-infused or derived products being sold to patients, and best practices for dispensary personnel.\nEnsure Key performance Indicators are captured\nManage daily financial reporting requirements and oversee all cash handling procedures.\nDevelop and maintain a schedule of all dispensary staff\nCommunicate any patient incidents or complaints to the Store Manager, Regional Dispensary Manager, or Compliance team.\nProtect patient rights by overseeing the employee HIPAA education program and ensure each employee is maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of protected health information and financial information.\nOversee patient education and counseling programs. Review and continuously revise information disseminated by the dispensary regarding debilitating conditions, their association with medical cannabis products, side effects, etc.\nAssist in implementation of the strategic plan to guide the dispensary’s operation and expansion with the direction of the Regional Dispensary Manager\nMaintain awareness of both external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for improvement, and industry development.\nAssist in ensuring the dispensary’s compliance with all relevant statutes, regulations, and directives in all respects, as well as best practices.\nStrive for patient satisfaction in all respects and ensure a patient-friendly environment at the dispensary.\nEnsure 100% traceability is maintained on the product from reception to sale to customer\nEnsure the Compliance team and Head of Retail isnotified in the event of a high-risk customer complaint \nTake pride in the appearance of the store by ensuring all areas, including restrooms, are consistently clean, safe, and guest-ready.\nQualifications\n·Must meet minimum age requirements as determined by local, state, and federal requirements\n·Must complete background check as required by local, state, and federal requirements\n·Maintain regular and punctual attendance.\n·Physical aptitude and health necessaryto perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of RMD. The working area may be odorous at times and loud due to fans and filtration systems, fluctuating between cold and warm temperatures.\nInvolves frequent contact with staff, vendors, and customers.
