You will play a pivotal role in driving the development and innovation of our technology.\nYou will love this job if:\nYou enjoy working on the frontier of deep technology development, where the answers aren't always clear, and you get to find new solutions to challenges being faced for the first time\nYou have the ability to convert complex issues into simple solutions\nYou have the ability to prioritize resources and are willing to be hands-on to drive outcomes\nYou have a passion for clean technology and a desire to develop products for a sustainable future\nYou want to work in a collaborative and supportive team environment\nYour Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop electrochemical stacks for LOHC, including optimizing performance, reliability and cost.\nCreate and validate designs and specifications for cell and stack components\nPerform detailed cell performance modeling and system trade-offs\nUtilize Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element Analysis to analyze and improve electrochemical reactor designs for performance and durability\nDevelop and implement component tests and inspection criteria to ensure product quality\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and research and development\nSupport the development and protection of LOHC stack IP, with a focus on strategic patent filing and management\nCollaborate with leadership team to define project goals, deliverables, budgets and timelines\nYour Skills and Experience:\nMinimum undergraduate degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field\nMinimum of 5 years proven experience in designing and developing fuel cell, electrochemical or electrosynthetic stacks and components, preferably for commercial applications\nExpertise in CFD and FEA tools for performance and structural analysis\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment\nStrong problem-solving skills\nFamiliarity with regulatory standards and compliance related to electrochemical technology like electrolyzers or fuel cells\nKnowledge of advanced materials and/or manufacturing processes for electrochemical technologies\nAt Ayrton We Value:\nHonesty - We are solving hard problems and look for diversity in thought.\nAccountability - We value action over words and will empower you to get things done.\nKindness - We are a team.
