This role is responsible for delivering cannabis and non-cannabis items to retail locations. Logistics Technician will also assist in the receiving and verifying all shipments that arrive at the facility. Individuals in this role must pay attention to detail, follow directions, problem-solve, work independently and be an adaptable team player.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nPrepare inventory in accordance to company policy\nVerify that prepared inventory is correct by checking product descriptions, quantities, and lot numbers\nEnsure 100% traceability from materials to receival to transfer.\nLoad and unload the inventory from designated locations to the company vehicles\nTransfer any non-cannabis materials and company documentation to and from the companyfacility to retail locations\nUnload shipments from various vendors to ensure that received materials are not damaged and verified against the shipping receipt\nAssist in the breakdown of pallets and organize shipping containers\nMaintain assigned vehicles, perform vehicle checks, and reporting any damages ornecessary repairs\nMust maintain a clean and organized working space\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nMust meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agencies\nAble to pass all background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies\nAble to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies\nEducation\nHigh school diploma/GED required\nExperience\nWarehouse or inventory preparation experience preferred\nDelivery experience preferred\nForklift and/or pallet jack experience preferred\nCompetencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude)\nCustomer Obsessed- Dedicated to creating a remarkable experience for both internal and external customers; builds rapport and maintains meaningful and effective relationships creating trustful, authentic connections; viewed as a good listener and is easy to approach and talk to and is often in the know early in any given situation.\nAdaptable/Flexible- Effectively manages change and adjusts comfortably to new people and processes; drives forward in uncertainty and remains calm, focused and on task in pressure situation by seeking understanding and resolve to deliver a remarkable experience; multi-tasks and handles risk, ambiguity and stress well while remaining positive in resistance; bounces back quickly from challenging situations; asks for help when needed and stays focused on being a force for good.\nPriority Setting- Invests their time and otherson what's important to deliver business results; quickly and effectively collaborates bringing together the collective intelligence of critical team members and prioritizes what needs to be done to reach the goal; quickly senses opportunities and obstacles in accomplishing a goal; eliminates roadblocks and creates focus that drives success and results.\nDirect reports\nNo direct reports\nNo direct reports, but leads project teams\nManagers one or more employees within a department\nManages department within a function with authority to hire/terminate\nOversees multiple departments\nWorking conditions\nWork is performed in several locations that include a cannabis cultivation and production facility.
