Description of the role

Provide support for the business and corporative functions in all matters related to Risk Management and Compliance, ensuring the timely execution, monitoring, and follow-up of requirements and request received from local, regional and HQ stakeholders, in accordance with the internal policies and applicable regulations

Areas of responsibilities

  • Perform Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence, ensuring compliance with AML/CFT, Sanctions and Embargoes and internal requirements.
  • Support the implementation and execution and monitoring of Compliance Policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Assess, monitor and report Compliance matters, including incidents, root cause analysis, remediation actions, and control effectiveness reviews.
  • Track follow up on requirements, findings, actions plan, and commitments arising from local, regional, and HQ request, ensuring timely completion within established deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to collect, validate, and consolidate information required for reporting, audits, reviews, and Cple. committees.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness through training sessions, guidance, awareness campaigns, and communications when required.
  • Support in internal investigations related to ABC, AML, COI or violations or other Compliance matters
  • Elaborate and maintain compliance reports, dashboards, risk indicators for local, regional, and HQ stakeholders.
  • Support to Data Privacy related activities

Job requirements

Technical Competencies

  • Strong Knowledge of Compliance: AML/CFT, ABC, S&E
  • Knowledge of Ethics & Compliance (COI, WB)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to review and analyse corporate documentation, public records, and regulatory information

  • Well organized and capacity to prioritize tasks.

Differentiating Criteria:

  • Experience in an international company or regulated environment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the banking, financing, leasing or insurance environment. (e.g. HSBC, Banamex, Fintech)
  • Knowledge of the regulatory and risk environment in the financial sector.

  • Advance English Proficiency
