Join us, and get better with every move.\nThe Digital division is responsible for ensuring high quality technology services are delivered to the Ayvens UK business by managing the implementation, delivery and management of robust and cost-effective solutions for the organisation. Incorporating Digital Product Management, Demand Management, Business and Technical Analysis, Technology Change & Adoption (IT PMO) the division ensures that technology programmes align with the business objectives and are successfully delivered to support the overall strategic direction of the organisation. The function sets policies, standards, and guidelines for technology change, demand and product management and implements these through the delivery of resilient, secure and interoperable technology solutions.\nThis would be a 12-month fixed term contract. This role is office-based, with flexibility for home working. The successful candidate will need to be able to attend our Bristol office when required.\nKey Responsibilities:\nFacilitate delivery of new business systems by understanding operational and commercial requirements.\nAnalyse business needs, problems and opportunities, understand requirements and translate into technical solutions.\nWork collaboratively with technical and non-business stakeholders to agree the solution design and business processes.\nManage the expectations of business users and project stakeholders.\nUnderstand and communicate the financial and operational impact of change.\nProvide delivery teams with business and product knowledge to enable delivery.\nAssist the business and development functions in optimising the scope, benefits and risks of proposed products and projects.\nContribute to monitoring project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports and recommending actions.\nMaintain high level of professionalism, ensuring completion of all mandatory compliance training, policies, monitoring and set objectives.\nSkills and Experience:\nTechnical Capabilities:\nStrong elicitation & analysis\nGood knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodology.\nSystems thinking and technical expertise /understanding of key concepts and ways of working across the technical disciplines\nProcess modelling and workflow analysis\nData analysis and reporting\nDatabase management and SQL (Desirable)\nDesired Previous Experience:\nPrevious experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role supporting business change, process improvement or technology delivery\nDesirable Education and Technical Ability:\nRelevant technical qualification obtained to at degree level or equivalent demonstrable experience.\nIT Applications:\nVery good IT literacy for all MS Office products specifically Excel\nExperience using Microsoft DevOps or equivalent (Desirable)\nAbility to use SQL to query and manipulate large datasets in a database (Desirable).\nWhat we offer\nRewards & Financial Benefits\nCompetitive pension scheme, Annual salary review and bonus scheme, Give As You Earn (GAYE) scheme, Employee referral scheme (£1,000)\nRetail discounts programme, GymFlex membership options, Cycle to Work scheme\nHealth & Wellbeing\nLife Assurance, Health assessment options, Travel insurance, Critical illness cover, Personal accident insurance.\nTime Off & Work-Life Balance\n25 days’ annual leave + an additional Celebration Day, 37.5 hour week, Monday to Friday, no weekends, Holiday buy & sell scheme, Volunteer days, Time allocated for personal development, Study support (where applicable).\nWorkplace & On-Site Facilities\nFree parking (limited) , EV charging points, Bike storage & shower facilities, Complimentary breakfast, Staff and social events\nStudies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for an opportunity unless they exactly meet the criteria specified.
