This full-time role offers a Mon-Fri schedule (2:00pm - 10:30pm), competitive pay of $30 - $38/hr plus $2 shift premium and a strong benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, sick time, and more. In this role, you will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility. You will also participate in the facility’s on-call rotation, serving as a maintenance contact for approximately one week every eight weeks to support operational needs outside of normal working hours.\nWhat We Offer:\nMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance\nPaid Time Off (Start with 3 weeks)\nSick Time\nMonthly Bonuses\nAdditional voluntary benefits\nMany more employee perks\nIn this role, you will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues, and ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nComplete preventative and planned maintenance tasks, reconcile comments and suggestions with the maintenance planner and the production shift supervisor.\nImmediate analysis of mechanical failures and complete the repair respecting EHS rules.\nComplete ad-hoc (mainly mechanical) jobs quickly and in a professional manner, as requested by Production Shift Supervisor, Production Manager, Maintenance Planner and Maintenance Manager.\nParticipate in a weekly on-call rotation to respond to off-hours maintenance needs and emergency situations.\nMaintenance of the company's production equipment, renewal, repair and, if necessary, conversion of machine parts and components.\nTroubleshoot, disassemble and repair plant equipment including but not limited to: pumps, heat exchangers, conveyors, slides, spouts, vehicles, grain processing equipment, agitators, valves, blowers, compressors, and fans.\nMakes necessary adjustments to the equipment to maintain parameters specified by the processes including alignment, balancing, vibration analysis, and lubrication.\nUnderstand and implement reliability-centered maintenance system.\nRegistering maintenance jobs in proper system.\nChecking working devices and parts, change if needed on the basis of pre-established and applicable audit tasks, documenting the shortcomings and forecasts discovered, Maintain Planner and Maintenance Manager notification.\nKeep work area, workshop and tools clean and in working order.\nTraining operators for simple maintenance tasks.\nActive participation in planned plant shutdowns, to determine the maintenance requirements of systems, devices and devices that fall within the scope of its competence.\nParticipate in the facility’s on-call rotation, serving as a maintenance contact for approximately one week every eight weeks to support operational needs outside of normal working hours.\nAbout Aztalan Bio\nAztalan Bio is part of ClonBio Group, a family-owned global leader in grain biorefining. ClonBio invests heavily in its people, with engineers and scientists from 23 countries across five continents supporting our long-term growth.\nRequirements\nQualifications\nMinimum of 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably chemical or food manufacturing.\nWelding and/or fabrication experience and certification (as applicable)\nPrevious experience working with conveyors, pumps, valves, etc.\nKnowledge of mechanical and electrical blueprints and the capability to operate various mechanical equipment\nForklift certified\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to work effectively as a team member\nExhibit flexibility, reliability and mutual respect for fellow employees\nStrong safety and math aptitude\nWork Environment & Physical Demands (choose only the ones that apply)\nNoise level in the work environment is moderate.
