If you are passionate, curious, innovative and data driven, you could still be a good fit.\nAbout the role:\nThe purpose of this position is to administer a limited portfolio of Fund structures in conjunction with the Associate Director - Administration.\nKey responsibilities:\nAct as first point of contact for a limited number of fund structures within a team\nCo-ordinate legal, tax and other professional advice\nDevelop and maintain the Operational Procedures Manuals and ISAE checklist templates for client relationships\nAttend client board meetings and shareholders meetings and coordinate minute preparation\nEnsure the preparation, review, distribution and filing of periodic financial statements on a timely basis and in accordance with regulatory guidelines\nAct as “B” level 4-eyes signatory on administration matters, ensuring that company policy and professional and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and outside contacts\nReview of Fund Operations and any investors related transactions\nRelease of investors notices\nReview and authorise payments\nAssist with billing information for clients including analysis of time spent, including the management of aged debtors\nSupervise and assist in the training and development of staff\nParticipate in the appraisal process for members of staff\nSkills, knowledge, expertise:\nHold a university degree preferably in law, finance or business administration or hold or study towards a relevant fund/corporate administration qualification (preferably CGO/CGI certificate level or equivalent), (relevant in-house training to be provided through the Aztec Academy\nAt least 5 years’ experience in Funds in a similar financial services environment or tasks experience\nSound technical financial services knowledge (to be supported through the Aztec Academy)\nComputer literacy skills are essential\nIdeally some people management experience\nEvidence of managing a small client relationship or part of a major client relationship\nAct as a “B” level Authorised Signatory\nWe will provide the training, both in house for relevant technical knowledge and also professional qualifications to enhance your professional development.
