If you are passionate, curious, innovative and data driven, you could still be a good fit.\nAbout the role:\nReports to the Financial Reporting Manager\nThe purpose of this position is to carry out routine day-to-day accounting of fund structures under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager.\nKey responsibilities:\nBookkeep a complex range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures\nComplete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and ad hoc investor queries\nDeal with the completion of routine audit queries and liaise with clients and intermediaries\nPrepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation evidencing transactions are completed within a robust control environment\nMaintain accurate records on eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules for all aspects of accounting\nEnsure accurate and timely payment of invoices and other payments\nAct as a mentor to junior staff under the supervision of senior staff\nSkills, knowledge, expertise:\nThe candidate will be expected to be at least part qualified with a relevant professional qualification (preferably having commenced ACCA Professional level or ACA Advanced level)\nComprehensive knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS \nExperience of the preparation of statutory financial statements is essential \nExperience of reviewing statutory accounts \nProficient in the use of Excel, new systems and software\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills are essential \nPrevious experience of training, coaching/mentoring of junior staff is advantageous\nPrior industry experience in Fund Administration is highly desirable \nWe understand that everyone has different needs, and that’s why our employee package includes a variety of benefits.
