This is a player-coach role suited for a strong engineering leader who can mentor a team, drive execution, and roll up their sleeves to contribute directly to coding, architecture and debugging when needed.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong leadership with deep technical expertise across embedded firmware and software development and thrives in a fast-paced product development environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead, mentor and develop a team of software and firmware engineers, providing both technical and people leadership. \nRemain hands-on in architecture, coding, design reviews, debugging and solving complex technical challenges. \nContribute directly to firmware and software development for new and existing products when required. \nDrive technical direction, engineering best practices, code quality and development processes. \nPartner closely with hardware, QA, manufacturing and product teams to deliver robust products on schedule. \nSupport system integration, root cause analysis and issue resolution across the product lifecycle. \nManage project priorities, resource planning and execution while balancing team leadership with technical contribution. \nFoster a high-performance engineering culture built on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. \nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. \n8+ years of experience in software/firmware development, including leadership experience. \nStrong hands-on programming experience in C/C++ and embedded systems development. \nExperience with embedded Linux, RTOS, device drivers, debugging and system-level development. \nProven ability to lead teams while remaining technically engaged in development work. \nStrong experience in architecture, code reviews and solving complex technical problems. \nExperience in electronics, networking, IoT or embedded product development preferred. \nStrong communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills. \nIdeal Candidate\nLeads by example and is willing to roll up their sleeves when needed. \nComfortable switching between strategic
