Clean offices, bathrooms, locker rooms, outside of plant and all other assigned areas.\nEssential Job Functions:\nAbility to work safely and adhere to all safety rules and regulations\nRegular and on-time attendance\nCommunicate effectively; Verbally and in writing with other departments\nFollow Standard Operating Procedures\nSweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs for the plant and office space.\nKeeps glass clean in the lobby and office. \nEmpties trash, garbage containers, and recycling containers.\nMaintains building including office and plant break rooms, Bathrooms, Locker rooms, performing minor routine painting when needed.\nMaintains the outside of the facility including parking lots.\nReports inventory to the clerk, including cups, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and janitorial supplies.\nNotifies management concerning needed repairs including lighting, plumbing and electrical damage.\nCleans debris from sidewalk.\nEmpties cigarette containers.\nHelps clerk move files to the storage area.\nAll other duties as assigned.\nOther Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerforms miscellaneous assignments as directed.\nCritical Demands:\nSquat, kneel, bend over or stoop frequently to perform job duties.\nReach or extend forward for long periods of time to perform job duties.\nAbility to read and comprehend written materials such as schedules, SOPs, EOPs, work rules, etc.\nAbility to comprehend and follow oral instructions.\nFrequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nWalk or stand for extended periods of time.\nStamina to work in extreme temperatures.\nAscend and descend stairs to reach work areas.\nCommunicate verbally or in writing with others.\nTools and Equipment Used:\nVacuum\nMop\nCleaning Supplies\nVarious small hand tools\nPersonal protective equipment\nForklift\nPush behind sweeper\nRide on Sweeper\nWork Environment:\nPeriodic temperature extremes, including temperatures over 90 degrees.\nSome work areas located on 2nd or 3rd floor.\nConcrete floors\nExposure to high levels of noise\nExposure to dust\nPeriodic exposure to fumes from paints and chemicals used in coating processes.\nUse of respirator required while performing some job functions.\nJob Requirements:\nHigh school level reading and writing, visual acuity to read labels, documents and instructions.\nAbility to work in an industrial or warehouse
