Due to an promotion we are looking for our next star employee to join the Precoat Metals team as a Technical Services Manager. You will bring your accuracy with details, negotiation, customer service, critical thinking & analytical acumen along with previous coil coating or related industry experience and work closely with both internal & external customers, vendors & suppliers to facilitate the success of existing & future business. This position will be based at our Greenfield, IN plant.\nAs one of our successful Technical Services Managers, you will interface with customers on a daily basis and ensure appropriate and timely resolution for claims by working with suppliers, customers and the plant. You will bring your collaborative style to this role and\nPartner with plant management and personnel to:\no Eliminate claims\no Drive process improvement\no Improve customer satisfaction\no Improve product performance in the field\nBe present on line for key runs as they relate to customer matters.\nWork hand in hand with plant personnel to initiate & document corrective actions.\nPerform field Inspections, evaluate alternatives, and develop solutions to address situations.\nCoordinate field refinishes with suppliers, contractors, customers & end users.\nWork with Tech Services Coordinator on claims administration which includes\no Tracking in AS400\no Lab review and analysis\no Research of production\no Disposition\no Accounting and accruals\no Timely response to the customer\nInitiate, drive and support claims problem solving.\nMonitor and analyze plant metrics on claims and claims improvement projects.\nAs the selected and successful candidate you will bring with you to Precoat Metals the following:\nAssociates degree or equivalent from a 2 year college or technical school preferred.\n3 - 5 years coil coating or related technical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nGreen Belt Certified preferred\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret procedures and work instructions.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nDemonstrated PC literacy with an emphasis on the Microsoft Office package and mainframe programs such as AS400 and/or similar product\nGood organizational skills\nAble to prioritize tasks and focus on the critical items\nAble to recognize when priorities shift and flexible enough to accommodate it.\nAbility to multi task\nTravel up to 50%\nEqual Opportunity Employer Precoat Metals is a Drug Free Work Place\nPrecoat Metals will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
