The role involves designing and implementing new functionalities, enhancing existing solutions, and ensuring high availability, performance, and security of business-critical applications.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Kafka, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.\nDevelop and enhance microservices-based solutions following clean code principles and best practices.\nBuild and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.\nParticipate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.\nCollaborate closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Architects, Security Specialists, and Operations teams to deliver business value.\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, incidents, and production issues.\nIdentify and remediate security vulnerabilities detected through SAST, container scanning, dependency scanning, penetration testing, and other security assessments.\nDrive secure coding practices and contribute to improving the security posture of internet-facing applications.\nSupport CI/CD processes using tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.\nOptimize application performance, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, operational documentation, and implementation guidelines.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to development practices, automation, quality assurance, and security.\nThe consultant is expected to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional Agile team and contribute to both feature delivery and ongoing application lifecycle management activities.\nLeverage AI-powered tools and solutions, such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot, to improve development efficiency, code quality, documentation, testing, and vulnerability remediation activities.\nExplore and contribute to the adoption of AI agents and intelligent automation solutions that enhance software delivery, operational support, and business value creation within the Cards domain.\nMust-have knowledge and experience\n1. 5+ years of Full Stack Java development experience and ability to test the changes developed.\n2. Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs\n3. Angular and Angular Material\n4. Kafka and SQL databases\n5. Docker and Kubernetes Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, CI/CD\n6. Agile/Scrum way of working\n7. Experience resolving SAST, container scan, and security vulnerabilities\n8. Knowledge of secure coding and OWASP principles\n9. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\n10. English (B1+/B2 or higher)\n11. Must have some basic knowledge on using AI tools or willing to explore\nNice-to-have knowledge and experience\n1. Experience in banking, cards, or payments domain\n2.
