Linux Expert Developer / DevOps Engineer (f/m)

We are looking for an experienced Linux Expert Developer / DevOps Engineer to join an international team working on a large-scale infrastructure transformation project.

The project focuses on migrating environments from VMware to Google Cloud Platform, developing the Linux platform, automating infrastructure administration processes, and implementing modern DevOps practices. The team is also developing AI-powered self-healing mechanisms. The project is delivered in a SAFe Agile environment.

Hybrid - 2 days per week from the office

International working environment

English used on a daily basis

Your Responsibilities

• designing and developing CI/CD automation,

• migrating environments from VMware to GCE,

• administering Red Hat Linux environments,

• developing infrastructure automation using Ansible,

• managing patching processes via Red Hat Satellite,

• developing scripts in Bash and Python,

• troubleshooting production environments,

• documenting technical solutions,

• collaborating with architects and platform teams,

• developing AI-powered solutions supporting infrastructure automation.

MUST-HAVE Skills

We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in:

• Linux / Red Hat Satellite

• Ansible

• Bash

• Python or Perl

Practical experience with Linux environment automation and CI/CD pipelines is also important for this role.

NICE TO HAVE

Additional experience with the following technologies will be an advantage:

• VMware

• Windows
