Your responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end feature delivery for core data architecture modules-including multi-tenant ingestion, schema lifecycle, temporal data tracking, snapshots, computed fields, and streaming exports-by steering autonomous AI agent workflows rather than writing manual code.

• Formulate clear, executable Product Requirement Prompts and structural specification documents to serve as the definitive source of truth across the engineering codebase.

• Orchestrate parallel AI agent runs, continuously monitoring output against defined specifications to increase first-pass generation accuracy and minimize manual code review steps.

• Design and refine the agent execution framework, integrating deterministic tooling (linting, build verification, version control) with reasoning models, Model Context Protocol servers, sandboxed environments, and vector retrieval across internal codebases and project histories.

• Oversee pipeline unit economics and data governance, optimizing token budgets and execution latency while establishing automated guardrails to prevent credentials and sensitive personal data from entering model contexts.

• Implement verification machinery by designing external behavioral test suites, unexposed evaluation benchmarks, synthetic integration environments, and automated AI-on-AI review steps.

• Establish automated load testing and scenario validation gates to enforce memory boundaries, query efficiency, and high-throughput data processing under production-scale conditions.

• Guide rapid incident resolution for data platform services using AI tools, leveraging functional domain knowledge of platform services to collaborate effectively with Support and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Background as a Senior Backend Engineer working with .NET/C# and PostgreSQL, with a demonstrated shift toward delegating software generation tasks to AI coding platforms.

• Proficiency in directing AI developer tools (with a strong preference for Claude Code), including setting up multi-agent sessions, configuring custom tools/skills, and structuring repository contexts for agent comprehension.

• Expertise in specification authoring, with a track record of translating business needs into unambiguous, machine-executable prompts and requirement models.

• Experience in software verification, including scenario-driven validation, holdout testing datasets, quality checkpoints, and automated evaluation systems.

• Strong architectural judgment to evaluate AI-generated proposals for algorithmic efficiency, memory utilization, database performance, and multi-tenant isolation.

• Hands-on experience developing developer toolchains, such as Model Context Protocol implementations, isolated sandbox runners, and agent-compatible CI/CD pipelines.

• Fluency in reading .NET/C# and relational SQL to audit generated code, inspect query execution plans, and review memory management patterns when flagged by validation systems.

• Written English communication skills to create specifications, behavioral testing criteria, and system designs readable by both technical teams and automated agents.

• Valuable additions: familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architectures, event-driven data streaming (Kafka, Debezium, MassTransit, RabbitMQ), Azure cloud services, container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), or synthetic testing environments.
