We’d love for you to join our team!\nJob Summary:\nB&A is looking for an Project Manager Technical Lead to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. The Project Manager Technical Lead serves as the overall manager of the contract and the single point of contact for the Government for the resolution of all contracts-related issues. This role provides both technical leadership and project management oversight, ensuring high-quality service delivery in accordance with contract requirements, the AO ITPM framework, and Judiciary Agile Guidelines.\nResponsibilities:\nServe as the overall contract manager and primary point of contact for Government stakeholders, including resolution of contract-related issues.\nLead and oversee contractor team activities to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of all contract tasks and deliverables.\nProvide technical leadership for system analysis, design, prototyping, enhancements, and production support.\nEnsure system security by addressing vulnerabilities, preventing new risks, and protecting Defender Program data.\nMaintain system baselines, version control, and consistent deployments across development, production, and failover environments.\nMonitor and evaluate system technologies for upgrades and continuous improvement.\nManage, mentor, and coach team members to support successful task execution.\nIdentify, manage, and communicate risks and issues, escalating to the COR as needed.\nEnsure all work aligns with the AO ITPM framework and Judiciary Agile Guidelines.\nFacilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews/demos, and retrospectives.\nCollaborate with the Product Owner to define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog.\nSupport system reporting, ad hoc data requests, and troubleshooting of enhancements and production issues.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.OR\n\nBachelor’s degree in any field plus a relevant professional certification, such as: Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM).\nRequired Skills:\nStrong project management and technical leadership skills supporting complex IT systems\nExperience managing Agile software development efforts and facilitating Agile ceremonies\nIn-depth understanding of system architecture, application development, and deployment processes\nExpertise in version control, configuration management, and multi-environment deployments\nProficiency in identifying, mitigating, and communicating program risks and issues\nWorking knowledge of application security principles, vulnerability remediation, and secure development practices\nExperience with modern application technologies (e.g., Java/Jakarta frameworks, web servers, databases)\nAbility to mentor and manage technical teams in a contract-driven environment\nStrong written and verbal communication skills for Government and stakeholder engagement\nAbility to support system reporting, data requests, and production troubleshooting\nSecurity Clearance:\nUS Citizen, eligible to obtain a clearance.\nSalary:\n150k annually.\nMore About B&A:\nNotable Clients\nB&A has grown to be a company that is trusted by our clients for exceptional service, innovative solutions, and inspired employees.
