The successful candidate will lead testing activities for Java-based web applications, ensuring functionality, compliance, accessibility, security, and performance across a complex enterprise environment. This role requires strong front-end testing expertise combined with backend troubleshooting skills to identify defects, validate integrations, and support successful system deployment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and execute comprehensive test plans, test procedures, and test cases.\nPerform functional, regression, integration, and user interface testing.\nValidate cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance.\nConduct backend troubleshooting through application log analysis, API validation, and database queries.\nExecute system build verification, installation, configuration, and integration testing.\nValidate Apache Tomcat, Oracle 19c, Apache Solr, LDAP, and SAP Business Intelligence integrations.\nVerify compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements and Section 508/WCAG standards.\nDevelop and maintain automated UI testing frameworks.\nIntegrate automated testing into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.\nTrack, document, and manage defects through resolution.\nProduce test reports, readiness assessments, and quality metrics.\nCollaborate closely with developers, business analysts, system administrators, and security personnel. \nRequired Qualifications\nActive or ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph; U.S. Citizenship required.\n18 years of experience in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Testing, or a related technical discipline.\nExtensive experience performing functional and regression testing of web-based user interfaces.\nStrong expertise in UI validation and cross-browser compatibility testing.\nExperience troubleshooting application and server-side issues through log analysis.\nProficiency with defect tracking tools and processes.\nExperience creating and executing SQL queries to validate system data.\nExperience verifying system installations, configurations, and integrations.\nAPI testing experience including RESTful services.\nKnowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements.\nKnowledge of Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.\nExperience working in regulated government environments.\nStrong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across technical and program teams. \nDesired Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI with Polygraph.\nExperience testing enterprise applications within Windows Server environments.\nExperience testing Apache Tomcat application servers.\nExperience validating Oracle 19c databases and data integrations.\nExperience testing SAP Business Intelligence reporting solutions.\nExperience validating Apache Solr integrations and search functionality.\nExperience developing and maintaining automated UI testing frameworks.\nExperience integrating test automation into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.\nKnowledge of LDAP authentication and authorization testing. \nEducation Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.\nA Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 4 years of experience.\nA Master’s degree may substitute for 6 years of experience. \nSecurity Requirements\nActive or ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph;
