You’ll be a senior technical voice on complex processing projects for industry-leading clients, at a time of strong growth and project activity.\nThe Role\nReporting to the Process Services Engineering Manager, you’ll provide high-quality process engineering services to our clients, from early concept and modelling through to construction and onsite delivery. You’ll develop detailed process schemes, plant layouts and specifications for pricing, tendering and construction. You’ll also carry out process modelling and report on the outcomes.\nOn multidisciplinary projects, you’ll manage the design input from other disciplines and plan the delivery of design documentation on time and on budget. You’ll monitor design changes, assess cost impacts and negotiate variations. You’ll also manage resources to meet programme and fee budgets. You’ll also be a trusted adviser to our clients. You’ll build and maintain key client relationships, help identify and develop new opportunities, and lead and facilitate design reviews and feasibility and design-stage workshops.\nAbout You\nWe’re looking for an experienced process engineer who combines deep technical capability with a practical, client-focused approach.\nYou will bring:\nA degree qualification in Chemical or Process Engineering\nSignificant process engineering experience on industrial, manufacturing or processing projects\nExperience developing process schemes, plant layouts and specifications\nDemonstrated experience facilitating workshops, design reviews, HAZOPs or similar\nProcess modelling capability and strong analytical skills\nExperience managing multidisciplinary design and coordinating other disciplines\nCommercial awareness, including managing fees, programmes and variations\nExcellent communication and client relationship skills\nWillingness to work on site for extended periods within New Zealand\nExperience in dairy and food processing will be highly regarded.\nYou’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy solving complex technical problems, build trust quickly with clients and colleagues, and take ownership of the quality of your work.
