If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!\nWhat will you be doing?\nWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Manager (Mobile) to support the development and evolution of our Mobile portfolio. This role is ideal for someone early in their product management career who is passionate about mobile technologies such as 4G/5G connectivity, business mobile tariffs, devices, eSIM, IoT and mobile device management.\nThe products will be delivered across all sales channels of Babble. Thereafter the role will manage and monitor the product(s) in life. The success of the role will be dependent on working in virtual teams and influencing key stakeholders from around the business.\nYou will work closely with senior product managers, operations, sales, and partners to deliver products that keep Babble customers connected, productive and secure on the move. The role will be internal and external facing, providing assistance to the sales community is a vital part of the position.\nThe role will incorporate vendor relationships. The successful applicant will be key in maintaining aligned relationships with the mobile network operators, device manufacturers and other vendors that support the product area.\nAccountabilities and Deliverables:\nAt all times working toward making the product & services portfolio ‘Easy to buy and easy to sell’ across all relevant Business Units\n\nSupporting the sales community\n\nInput into the creation of cost models and pricing tools for mobile tariffs, bolt-ons and device bundles\n\nLeading virtual teams to deliver products\n\nStakeholder engagement\n\nReporting on product portfolio\n\nCreate and manage product roadmaps\n\nImplementation of and collaboration on best practice for lifecycle management\n\nBusiness improvement\n\nIdentification and introduction of new mobile products and capabilities to be offered, such as 5G, eSIM, IoT connectivity and mobile security\n\nSupport the senior product managers in the creation of business plans to support training and investment in new capabilities\n\nTo liaise with mobile network operators and device manufacturers for technical updates, network changes and support for the technologies used\n\nVendor management including but not exclusive to, monthly meetings, sales tracking, business plan creation\n\nTravelling between different Babble, network operator and vendor offices in order to efficiently conduct business\n\nWhat success looks like in this role\nSuccessfully complete product development within defined time scales\n\nEnsure that the products contribute to the business targets for in year growth\n\nSupport business transformation projects to improve efficiency within the business, within specified timescales\n\nWhat else looks good for this role:\nAbility to work in virtual geographically disperse teams\n\nStrong organisational and interpersonal skills\n\nGood time management and prioritisation skills\n\nStrong attention to detail and diligence\n\nExcellent oral and presentation skills with the ability to articulate a message to a mixed audience, from managerial/strategic personnel to technical personnel\n\nHands-on experience in managing mobile connectivity, device and service products\n\nExposure to leading mobile networks, device manufacturers and technologies in the mobile space\n\nMentorship from experienced product managers\n\nOpportunity to grow into a full Product Manager role\n\nWhat you'll gain\nHands-on experience in managing mobile connectivity, device and service products\n\nExposure to leading mobile networks, device manufacturers and technologies in the mobile space\n\nMentorship from experienced product managers\n\nOpportunity to grow into a full Product Manager role\n\n Skills & Expertise\nSome experience in product lifecycle management\n\nBe technically and commercially aware of the UK business mobile market (networks, tariffs, devices and operator models) and have a full understanding of the technical, business and commercial propositions on offer\n\nA good knowledge of Microsoft tools to create associated collateral for the support of both new product release and in life product updates\n\nKnowledge of Sales/Operational processes and their interaction with the Project Delivery Teams\n\nGood project management skills, not essential but will benefit the employee in this role\n\n Why work for Babble?\nPension: Statutory pension provision\n\nSick Leave: 20 days’ statutory sick pay\n\nWork Environment: Full-time, office-based role\n\nParental Leave: Statutory maternity and paternity leave\n\nThe recruitment journey\nWe want to fill this role quickly, but we want to get the right person.
