Additionally, colleagues can contribute directly to a TFSA\nFlexibility in How We Work\nWe offer an agile workplace for several positions, including this one\nAn option of a compressed work schedule supports work/life interests\nCompetitive annual vacation time off and additional time off during our holiday closure\nGrowth and recognition\nA comprehensive colleague recognition program and bonus program\nTraining and support for professional development and professional membership dues\nWe encourage you to learn more about Babcock Canada by exploring our website: babcockcanada.com.\nDescription\nIn this role, you will:\nEnsure all work is performed in accordance with approved procedures, specifications, standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.\nMaintain accurate inventory records within Babcock's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, including monitoring shelf-life controls, cure dates, serial number tracking, and First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory rotation.\nAnalyze and resolve inventory-related requests from multiple stakeholders across the business, including Material Planning, Project Management, Procurement, and Warehousing teams.\nCreate, process, and track purchase requisitions while proactively monitoring inventory levels and supply demands to support operational requirements.\nCoordinate and support emergent and high-priority material requests in support of the Victoria In-Service Support Contract (VISSC).\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to implement corrective actions and maintain inventory accuracy.\nParticipate in daily cycle counts and quarterly and annual stocktaking activities to ensure inventory integrity and compliance.\nGenerate and maintain inventory-related reports and documentation to support operational and business requirements.\nFoster strong working relationships with internal customers and provide responsive support to inventory and material management inquiries.\nActively contribute to Babcock Canada's occupational health, safety, and environmental culture, including participation in Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities.\n\nThe ideal candidate brings:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is considered an asset.\nMinimum one (1) year of experience in inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or material management.\nExperience maintaining accurate inventory records and working with inventory control processes and best practices.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.\nExperience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably IFS and/or Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS), is considered an asset.\nProfessional Supply Chain certification, such as APICS CPIM, SCMP, or related designation, is considered an asset.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.\nEligibility to obtain and maintain a Canadian Secret Security Clearance and comply with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.\nFooter\nBabcock is committed to promoting a workforce without boundaries.
