You'll help drive progress across complex electrical construction activities, providing the planning insight and schedule accuracy needed to ensure safe, efficient and predictable project delivery.\nThe role\nAs a Construction Planner Electrical, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed electrical construction schedules and lookahead plans that support the successful delivery of critical engineering work. Working closely with delivery teams and key stakeholders, you'll provide visibility of progress, productivity, risks and constraints, helping ensure project milestones are achieved safely and effectively.\nThis role offers the opportunity to work on a large-scale engineering programme where your expertise will directly influence project performance while enhancing your career within the defence, aerospace and engineering sector.\nDay-to-day, you’ll be required to:\nDeveloping and maintaining detailed electrical Level 5 construction schedules.\nPreparing and updating four-week lookahead plans aligned to programme milestones.\nIntegrating engineering, materials, resource, quality and commissioning requirements into schedules.\nMonitoring installation progress and providing accurate, evidence-based schedule updates.\nProducing planned versus actual performance reports, highlighting productivity trends, risks and constraints.\nThis role is full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Hinkley Point C. Hybrid working patterns are available, with the expectation of regular onsite presence.\nEssential experience of the Construction Planner Electrical\nProven planning experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or major project environments.\nExperience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and lookahead plans.\nAbility to monitor progress and report against project milestones and deliverables.\nExperience producing performance, productivity or progress reporting.\nWorking knowledge of Primavera P6 and site-based project delivery environments is highly desirable.\nQualifications for the Construction Planner Electrical:\nHNC in an Engineering discipline.\nSecurity Clearance\nThe successful candidate must be a valid UK passport holder, with the ability to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) United Kingdom Security Vetting: clearance levels - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)\nWhat we offer\nGenerous holiday allowance\nMatched contribution pension scheme, with life assurance\nAccess to a Digital GP, annual health check, and nutritional consultations through Aviva DigiCare+\nEmployee share scheme\nEmployee shopping savings portal\nPayment of Professional Fees\nReservists in the armed forces receive 10-days special paid leave\nHoliday Trading is a benefit that allows UK Cavendish employees to buy additional leave or to sell up to one working week of annual leave from their annual entitlement.
