If you join us, you can play your part as a Construction Planner at Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater, Somerset.\nThe role\nThis is your opportunity to play a key role in delivering one of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects in Europe. Working at the heart of a major nuclear new-build programme, you'll help ensure construction activities are planned, coordinated, and delivered safely and efficiently.\nThis is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Hinkley Point C. Flexible working arrangements are available, with the potential for a working pattern of four days onsite and one day remote.\nDay-to-day, you’ll be required to:\nDeveloping and maintaining detailed mechanical construction schedules aligned to programme objectives.\nPreparing and updating four-week lookahead plans and supporting longer-term planning activities.\nMonitoring progress against planned outputs and providing accurate, evidence-based schedule updates.\nIntegrating engineering, materials, resources, access, quality and commissioning requirements into construction plans.\nConfirming activity readiness and collaborating with construction and delivery teams to identify and mitigate risks.\nEssential experience of the Construction Planner\nSignificant experience within a construction planning environment.\nExperience producing and maintaining detailed project schedules.\nExperience using Primavera P6 planning software.\nExperience working on large-scale construction, engineering, maintenance, outage or shutdown projects.\nExperience working in a site-based project environment and engaging with multiple stakeholders.\nQualifications for the Construction Planner\nHigher National Certificate (HNC) in an Engineering discipline.\nSecurity Clearance\nThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
