If you join us, you can play your part as a Maintenance Planner at our Babcock site, near Rosyth, Fife.\nThe role\nAs a Maintenance Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of facilities maintenance activities across a diverse and complex operational environment. Supporting critical infrastructure and assets, you'll help maintain compliance, improve operational efficiency, and enable high-quality facilities services that support Babcock's mission.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work across a broad range of engineering and facilities disciplines, influencing business resilience, asset performance, and continuous improvement. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation while developing your expertise in maintenance planning, facilities management, and operational delivery within the defence and engineering sector.\nDay-to-day, you’ll be required to:\nPlanning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure work is completed efficiently and in line with operational priorities\nMaintaining accurate maintenance records and asset information within planning systems\nMonitoring compliance with maintenance standards and supporting external audit requirements\nCollaborating with engineering, facilities, and operational teams to prioritise and schedule work activities\nDriving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, asset performance, and business resilience\nThis role is full time and based onsite at Rosyth, Fife.\nEssential experience of the Maintenance Planner:\nExperience working within a facilities management or maintenance environment\nDemonstrable experience applying maintenance planning principles and best practice\nExperience coordinating multiple workstreams, priorities, and multidisciplinary teams\nStrong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation\nKnowledge of SFG20 maintenance standards would be advantageous\nExperience with SAP is advantageous \nQualifications for the Maintenance Planner:\nNational Certificate or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline, facilities management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience\nSecurity Clearance\nThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.\nMany of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
