If you join us, you can play your part as a Payroll Coordinator at Hinkley Point C, near Bridgwater, Somerset.\nThe role\nThis is a brilliant opportunity to work as part of the MEH Alliance on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. The alliance work across the project to integrate and coordinate the delivery of all main Mechanical, Electrical, Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (MEH), cabling and associated support services. This innovative approach will help different contractors work as a single entity to deliver the complex installation of cabling and pipework in the power station’s vast network of rooms.\nDay-to-day, you'll be required to:\nMaintaining and updating payroll trackers, ensuring employee information is accurate and up to date.\nCollecting, logging and distributing payroll forms, including holiday, absence, lodge and pay query documentation.\nProducing payroll reports and supporting the creation of payroll metrics and management information.\nAssisting with payroll-related inductions and providing administrative support including document management, spreadsheets and meeting notes.\nResponding to payroll queries and supporting the wider payroll team to deliver an excellent employee experience.\nThis role is based at Hinkley Point C. You will work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a rotational later shift approximately once every eight weeks. The role is primarily site-based, with home working on Fridays.\nEssential experience of the Payroll Coordinator:\nExperience working in a fast-paced administrative environment.\nStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.\nExperience managing and maintaining accurate records and documentation.\nConfidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly spreadsheets and reporting tools.\nExperience within payroll administration or payroll support would be advantageous\nQualifications for the Payroll Coordinator:\nWe value difference and don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education.
