If you join us, you can play your part as a Project Manager at Custom House, near Belfast, County Antrim.\nThe role\nAs a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of complex projects from initiation through to completion. You'll oversee programme performance, manage project resources and budgets, and work closely with customers and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.\nDay-to-day you'll be required to:\nManage multidisciplinary projects to ensure delivery is safe, efficient, on schedule and within budget.\nMonitor project performance, risks and financial forecasts, implementing corrective actions where required.\nCoordinate project teams, suppliers and stakeholders to achieve project objectives and milestones.\nMaintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.\nEnsure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and governance requirements.\nThe role is based onsite at Custom House, Belfast, and the set working times are Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.\nEssential experience of the Project Manager:\nProven experience delivering projects within the construction, infrastructure, engineering or rail sectors.\nExperience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.\nStrong project management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, resources and project risks.\nDemonstrable ability to successfully deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.\nRail industry experience or rail systems engineering knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.\nQualifications for the Project Manager:\nQualification in a relevant Engineering, Construction, Project Management or related discipline.\nNEC4 Project Manager Accreditation.\nWhat we offer\nGenerous holiday allowance\nMatched contribution pension scheme, with life assurance\nAccess to a Digital GP, annual health check, and nutritional consultations through Aviva DigiCare+\nEmployee shopping savings portal\nPayment of Professional Fees\nHoliday Trading is a benefit that allows UK Babcock employees to buy additional leave or to sell up to one working week of annual leave from their annual entitlement.
