Working with technical specialists, suppliers and stakeholders, you'll coordinate people, resources and activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.\nDay-to-day, you’ll have the opportunity to work on varied and meaningful projects that support business transformation and operational excellence. You'll gain exposure to complex delivery environments, build relationships across multiple disciplines and develop valuable experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles within a leading defence and engineering organisation.\nManaging the full project lifecycle from initiation through to delivery, operational handover and closure.\nDeveloping and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets and resource forecasts.\nCoordinating multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to deliver agreed milestones and outcomes.\nManaging project risks, issues, dependencies and change control activities.\nReporting project performance, forecasts and delivery progress to stakeholders and senior leaders.\nThis role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.\nEssential experience of the Project Manager\nExperience delivering projects within a technology, digital, information technology, data or digital infrastructure environment.\nDemonstrable project management experience across the full project lifecycle.\nExperience managing project scope, risks, budgets, schedules and change control.\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nAbility to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and suppliers while managing competing priorities.\nQualifications for the Project Manager\nEssential\nDegree, HND or equivalent experience in Project Management, Business, Information Technology or a related discipline.\nAssociation for Project Management Project Management Qualification (PMQ).\nDesirable\nAgile certification.\nScrum certification.\nRelevant professional development in project delivery, business change or digital technologies.\nSecurity Clearance\nThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.\nMany of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
