You'll work across complex and high-profile projects, helping to ensure critical programmes are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule. As part of a collaborative team, you'll gain exposure to a wide range of stakeholders while developing your expertise in project controls, planning and scheduling within one of the UK's most important engineering and infrastructure environments.\nDay-to-day, you’ll provide professional planning and scheduling support across a portfolio of infrastructure projects. Working closely with project managers, engineers, construction teams, commercial professionals, subcontractors and supply chain partners, you'll play a key role in coordinating project schedules, monitoring performance and supporting effective project delivery.\nSupporting Project and Programme Managers with project scheduling and planning activities.\nPreparing and delivering schedule-related reports, data and project performance information.\nMaintaining project schedules and ensuring alignment between programme plans and project costs.\nAssisting with critical path analysis, schedule variance reporting and annual spend forecasting.\nCollaborating with engineering, construction, commercial and supply chain teams to support project delivery.\nThis role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.\nEssential experience of the Project Planner\nKnowledge of project planning, scheduling or project controls principles.\nExperience developing, maintaining and monitoring project schedules and programme plans.\nExperience coordinating activities and tracking progress across project teams.\nUnderstanding of how cost, risk, estimating and change management interact with project schedules.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.\nQualifications for the Project Planner\nDesirable:\nExperience using Primavera P6 scheduling software.\nAPM Project Planning & Control Foundation (PPC).\nAPM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ).\nONC in an Engineering discipline or equivalent technical experience.\nSecurity Clearance\nThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.\nMany of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
