This is your opportunity to lead significant engineering projects that directly support the Royal Navy’s operational capability, work that is innovative, meaningful and nationally important.\nDay-to-day, you’ll be part of our Whole Boat & Platform Systems Engineering team, helping to drive engineering performance, improve processes, and influence how complex engineering systems are delivered.\nCarry out project management activities including planning, delivery and cost control.\nLiaise with customers and stakeholders to present solutions, progress and outcomes.\nLead transversal engineering projects and deliver technical solutions to complex engineering problems.\nImplement engineering processes, governance and capability plans that improve how we operate.\nUndertake engineering investigations, producing clear reports and recommendations.\nThis role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.\nEssential experience of the Senior Systems Engineer\nUnderstanding and delivery of system technical requirements.\nFamiliarity with commercial and subcontract processes.\nExperience driving innovation and improving engineering effectiveness and efficiency.\nProven experience managing projects in fast-moving environments, delivering on time, on budget and to quality standards.\nQualifications for the Senior Systems Engineer\nDegree or Level 5 qualification in a relevant STEM discipline OR substantial relevant experience can be considered.\nSecurity Clearance\nThe successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.\nMany of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
