You'll play a pivotal role in developing innovative learning solutions that support workforce capability across some of the UK's most important defence programmes. Working as part of the People Capability Enhancement Programme, you'll collaborate with technical specialists, operational stakeholders and learning professionals to create high-quality training interventions that help build the skills needed to deliver critical national defence outputs.\nDay-to-day you'll be required to:\nLeading and coordinating training development activities across strategic capability programmes.\nDeveloping engaging learning products and training solutions that meet operational, business and compliance requirements.\nCollaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify competency requirements and design effective learning interventions.\nEvaluating training effectiveness and implementing continuous improvements across the learning lifecycle.\nSupporting workforce capability by ensuring learning solutions align with organisational and programme objectives.\nThis role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.\nEssential experience of the Senior Training Developer\nExperience leading teams and delivering complex projects or programmes.\nStrong expertise in learning design, training development methodologies and the creation of learning assets.\nExperience partnering with subject matter experts to develop and implement learning solutions.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret competency requirements and translate them into effective training interventions.\nExperience gained within a complex engineering, technical, training or educational environment.\nQualifications for the Senior Training Developer\nDegree-level qualification (or equivalent) in learning and development, training, education, or a relevant technical discipline.\nFoundation Degree (Level 4) or equivalent qualification and experience in a training, learning, development or technical discipline.\nExperience within the defence sector would be advantageous.\nSecurity Clearance\nThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.\nMany of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
