We will provide you with the tools and training necessary to grow your skills in line with the ever-evolving task of submarine maintenance.\nDay-to-day, you’ll be part of a growing architectural team within our Digital Solutions business unit, contributing to a portfolio of medium to enterprise-scale projects.\nScope functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into high-level solution designs.\nDefine system components, integration points and data flows using modern technologies and platforms.\nPresent and communicate solution designs to stakeholders through workshops, proposals and visual storyboarding.\nLead technical delivery, resolving complex issues, managing risks and working with software partners to achieve successful deployment.\nEnsure solutions align with architectural strategies and standards, selecting appropriate technologies and vendors to meet programme needs.\nThis role is full time and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.\nEssential experience for the Solution Architect\nProven experience in technical architecture and solution design using tools like Sparx EA and frameworks such as ArchiMate\nDemonstrate an ability to communicate and manage all levels of stakeholders\nStrong understanding of security principles and governance\nDemonstrated success in designing and delivering complex systems integration solutions\nDesirable experience for the Solution Architect\nBackground in regulated industries such as defence, aerospace or nuclear, finance\nExperience in integrating enterprise level systems\nQualifications for the Solutions Architect\nRelevant qualifications in technical architecture and solution design such as BCS Practitioner Certificate in Enterprise and Solutions Architecture.\nAdditional certifications in security or enterprise systems are advantageous\nSecurity Clearance\nThe successful candidate must be a sole UK national, who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.\nMany of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
