If you join us, you can play your part as a Workshop Supervisor at Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.\nThe role\nAs a Workshop Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading and managing an operational team to safely deliver production targets while ensuring effective workforce management, resource planning, process compliance and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to take ownership of operational delivery, making sure the right people, tools, processes and resources are in place to achieve business objectives.\nDay-to-day, you will be:\nLeading and developing an operational team to deliver production plans safely and efficiently.\nManaging recruitment, performance, capability, welfare and workforce planning activities.\nEnsuring compliance with health, safety, quality and operational processes.\nOverseeing production systems, equipment, tooling and resource availability to minimise operational risks.\nDriving continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining accurate operational reporting and planning.\nThis role is full time working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based on site at Ashchurch, Gloucestershire.\nEssential experience of the Workshop Supervisor:\nExperience supervising teams within a production, manufacturing, engineering, automotive, logistics or similar operational environment.\nAbility to coordinate people, resources and daily operations effectively.\nExperience working within a safety-focused and process-driven environment.\nStrong communication and team leadership skills.\nExperience supporting performance improvement and delivery against operational targets.\nQualifications for the Workshop Supervisor:\nEducated to Level 2 within the National Qualifications Framework (or equivalent).\nRelevant technical or vocational qualification equivalent to NQF Level 3, such as an Advanced Apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ.\nSecurity Clearance\nThe successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.\nMany of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
