Join us in driving the science, technology and expertise that will serve the growing global demand for safe, reliable, clean energy.\nThe Lead Project Planner/Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining integrated CPM schedules, covering engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. This role ensures effective schedule management, objective reporting, and collaboration with project teams, and vendors. The position also involves schedule analysis and risk identification.\nEssential Responsibilities\nDevelop, integrate, update, and monitor engineering, materials, equipment fabrication, and construction project schedules.\nCreate and maintain baseline schedules, perform Critical Path analysis, report variances and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) monthly.\nCoordinate vendor and subcontractor planning and expediting.\nTrack and expedite materials, components, systems, and drawings per purchase agreements.\nProcess engineering requisitions and manage Drawing and Data Transmittal Schedules (DDTS).\nEnsure appropriate lead times in collaboration with Supply Management.\nAddress schedule-related challenges with engineering, procurement, and vendors.\nProcess purchase order receipts and approve vendor invoices.\nTrack scope changes through our Deviation Management System (DMS) and integrate them into project schedules.\nIdentify, assess, and communicate schedule risks.\nPrepare, present reports and options on Project’s critical paths.\nLead project team meetings to present upcoming work and resolve scheduling issues.\nProvide variance analysis and early warnings on critical or near-critical activities.\nEnsure timely project closeout and compliance with contractual requirements.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in project planning/scheduling for medium to large-scale projects.\nIndustry experience in Power Generation, Energy, Utilities, or Petroleum preferred.\nStrong knowledge of Oracle’s Primavera P6, Costpoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.\nAbility to perform “what-if” schedule scenarios and analyze engineering changes with minimal disruption.\nExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nPMP/PMI certification preferred.\nPrimavera training certificates (P102, P106, 601-603) preferred.\nBenefits\nTo provide greater transparency to candidates, we include base pay ranges for all US-based job postings that encompass all potential locations and levels for the open positions.
