This is a highly visible role with meaningful exposure to the Company’s CFO and senior leadership, department heads, investors, and other key stakeholders. The right person will combine financial rigor, business judgment, technological fluency, and strong interpersonal instincts. \nThe Senior Financial Analyst will own key FP&A processes, including the weekly cash forecast, monthly rolling forecast, departmental budgeting and reporting, and ad hoc analysis supporting management decisions. The role will also contribute to annual budgeting, long-range planning, M&A analysis, and the continued modernization of Finance workflows through automation, AI-enabled tools, and better use of data. \nThe ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting and corporate finance, and is intellectually curious, business-minded, and eager to grow. Beyond strong analytical skills, this person is naturally inclined to understand how the business operates, ask thoughtful questions, and translate data into actionable recommendations. This individual combines strong financial acumen with sound judgment, effective communication, and a desire to take on increasing responsibility over time. \nWhat You'll Do \nOwn the weekly cash forecasting process, partnering with Accounting and other stakeholders to understand expected cash inflows and outflows, identify potential liquidity issues, and improve forecast accuracy.\nMaintain and enhance the monthly rolling forecast and long-range financial model, ensuring assumptions are current, outputs are accurate, and key operational and financial drivers are clearly understood and communicated.\nServe as a credible finance partner to department heads by developing and communicating budgets and forecasts, challenging assumptions constructively, investigating variances, and identifying practical opportunities to improve operating and spending decisions.\nSupport the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating revenue and expense inputs from departments.\nQuickly structure and deliver decision-ready analyses that evaluate business performance, investment opportunities, strategic initiatives, and other management questions, with clear conclusions, risks, and recommended actions.\nSupport M&A activities, including financial due diligence, modeling, and analytics related to potential acquisitions.\nContinuously improve FP&A processes, reporting, models, data flows, and systems to increase speed, accuracy, control, and scalability; identify work that should be automated, standardized, simplified, or eliminated.\nEvaluate and leverage automation, AI-enabled tools, and emerging technologies to improve financial processes, accelerate analysis, and enhance decision-making.\nPartner with stakeholders across the business to understand operational drivers, challenge assumptions constructively, and help translate financial insights into business action. \n What You'll Bring \nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\n3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, Big 4 Advisory, consulting, or another highly analytical and business-facing role.\nStrong accounting and financial statement knowledge, including a clear understanding of the relationship between the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.\nAdvanced financial modeling and data-analysis skills with Excel, with the ability to build, audit, maintain, and improve complex models and reporting tools while analyzing large datasets efficiently and accurately.\nStrong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning processes.\nHands-on experience with ERP, financial planning, reporting, business intelligence, or data-visualization systems, plus demonstrated ability to learn new tools quickly.\nExperience in a high-growth, recurring-revenue, SaaS, or PE-backed environment is strongly preferred.\nCPA, CFA, MBA, or relevant analytics or systems experience is a plus, but sound judgment, learning agility, and demonstrated impact matter more than credentials alone. \nWhat Will Make You Stand Out \nBusiness Curiosity: Interested in understanding how the company operates, not just how financial models work.\nStrong Judgment: Able to quickly identify what matters, make reasonable assumptions, and operate effectively with imperfect information.\nTechnology Orientation: Naturally curious about automation, AI, data tools, and better ways of working.\nSocial Intelligence: Builds trust easily, communicates effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, and knows how to influence without creating friction.\nOwnership Mentality: Takes initiative, follows through, and is willing to step in where needed to help the team succeed.\nSpeed and Adaptability: Learns quickly, works with urgency, and remains effective during demanding planning cycles, transactions, and critical deadlines. \nBenefits at Babel Street (just to name a few...)\nHealth Benefits: Babel Street covers 85-100% monthly premium costs for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability insurances - for you and your family!\nRetirement Plans: Babel Street offers both a Traditional and Roth 401(K) with a very competitive match.\nUnlimited Flexible Leave: We trust our employees to manage their own time and balance their personal and work lives.\nHolidays: Babel Street provides employees with 12 paid Federal Holidays\nTuition Reimbursement: We are committed to investing in our employees.
