We are looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail - making sure products are correct, orders flow smoothly, campaigns perform, systems talk to one another, data can be trusted, and customers receive the experience they expect.\nBased at Babylonstoren in Franschhoek, South Africa, you will be the important link between our U.S. team, Brand Creative, fulfilment partners, technology providers and e-commerce teams.\nRequirements\nWe are looking for someone who combines strong digital capability with excellent operational discipline.\nThe ideal candidate will have:\nRelevant experience in e-commerce, digital operations, digital marketing or online retail.\nStrong working knowledge of e-commerce platforms and website management.\nPractical experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads, including campaign setup, tracking, audiences, conversions and optimisation.\nExperience working with Google Analytics and interpreting digital performance data.\nExperience with HubSpot or similar CRM and marketing platforms.\nA good understanding of EMS and CMS systems, product feeds and integrations.\nStrong analytical skills and the ability to identify inaccuracies, gaps and opportunities in data.\nAn excellent eye for detail - particularly when working with products, pricing, inventory and customer information.\nStrong organisational and problem-solving skills.\nThe confidence to work across different teams, suppliers and technology partners.\nA proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine interest in making digital systems work better.\nThe ability to balance technical detail with commercial thinking and customer experience.\nResponsibilities:\nManage the day-to-day performance of the U.S. online shop, ensuring accurate products, pricing, inventory, content, promotions and an excellent customer experience.\nOversee e-commerce orders and fulfilment, including customer queries, order tracking and successful delivery.\nManage and optimise Google and Meta advertising, including campaigns, tracking, conversions, audiences and product feeds.\nMonitor digital performance and analytics through Google Analytics, HubSpot and other platforms, ensuring accurate data and actionable reporting.\nImprove the flow and integration between e-commerce, EMS/CMS and fulfilment systems, resolving issues and identifying opportunities for greater efficiency.\nSupport Wine Club operations, including subscription payments, customer account issues and ensuring orders are correctly processed before fulfilment.\nWho will thrive in this role?\nYou are organised, curious, analytical and technically capable.\nYou notice when something is not working - and you do not wait for someone else to fix it.\nYou are equally comfortable reviewing campaign performance, checking product information, investigating a failed order, working with a technology provider or spotting an inconsistency in a report.\nMost importantly, you understand that great e-commerce is not only about technology.
