If you answered yes to these three questions, we may have an opportunity for you!\nJob Title: Operations Coordinator III (Facility & Fleet Support - Czech Hub)\nLocation: Cesky Krumlov, South Bohemia, Czech Republic\nReports To: Operations Lead (Czechia-Cesky Krumlov)\nJob Overview\nAs a full-time Operations Coordinator (Facility & Fleet Support) at Backroads’ Czech Hub, you will play a key role in executing the hands-on operational work that keeps our hub running efficiently.\nThis role focuses on facility operations, warehouse execution, and fleet support, ensuring that our vans, trailers, equipment, and workspace are always operational and ready for use.\nYou will work closely with the Unit Loads Coordinator and Fleet Coordinator, supporting critical activities such as van preparation, warehouse organization, Unit Load readiness, and facility maintenance.\nIf you enjoy hands-on work, problem solving, and being at the center of operational execution in a dynamic environment, this role is a great fit.\nKey Responsibilities\nFacility & Warehouse Operations\nMaintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse and operational spaces\nExecute daily warehouse activities including staging, storage, and material handling\nSupport warehouse organization and continuous improvements to layout and usability\nAssist in maintaining proper storage standards for equipment and operational materials\n Fleet Operations Support (Hands-On)\nPerform hands-on fleet-related tasks, including:\nVan racking and unracking\nTrailer inspections and basic maintenance\nHitch adjustments and vehicle configurations\nSupport the onboarding of new vans:\nPicking up vehicles\nCoordinating decals application with external vendors\nInstalling racks and preparing vans for operational use\nEnsure vehicles are physically ready and properly configured for Unit Loads and field operations\nUnit Load Support\nAssist with preparation and execution of Unit Loads\nSupport equipment staging, packing, and warehouse setup\nAssist Field Staff during load days and ensure smooth execution\nEnsure all materials are accessible, organized, and ready for transport\nFacility Maintenance & Improvements\nPerform small repairs and maintenance tasks using basic tools\nIdentify and address facility issues proactively\nSupport implementation of facility improvements and upgrades\nWork with external contractors when needed for small projects\nSeasonal Operations (EOSM & Peak Periods)\nSupport End-of-Season Maintenance (EOSM), including:\nEquipment handling and organization\nFacility reset and preparation for the next season\nAssist with seasonal transitions and operational readiness\nCollaboration & Team Support\nWork closely with Operations Coordinators and OpX team to support daily operations\nContribute to a positive and efficient team environment\nProvide flexible support across operational priorities as needed\nQualifications\nOperations Experience: 1-3 years in warehouse, logistics, facility operations, or similar hands-on roles preferred\nHands-On Skills: Comfortable with physical work, basic tools, and practical problem solving\nDriving Skills: Valid driver’s license; confident driving vans and handling trailers\nPractical Mindset: Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented when facing operational challenges\nOrganization: Able to manage tasks, keep spaces organized, and maintain operational standards\nCommunication: Fluent English required; Fluent Italian preferred\nPhysical Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks\nAbout Backroads:\nFounded in 1979, Backroads is the world’s leading guest-focused travel company, offering luxury Biking, Hiking & Walking, and Multi-Adventure Trips for active people of all ages and experience levels.
