This role is responsible for managing and expanding an existing book of business while opening new accounts throughout the territory. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, comfortable selling in person, and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. You’ll represent Bad Birdie through on-course visits, line reviews, product presentations, and strategic account management while playing a key role in growing our presence across the territory.\nRole Details\nEngagement: 1099 Independent Contractor\nPrimary Partner: Head of Sales\nTerritory: Florida\nTravel: Frequent travel throughout the territory, including overnight travel as needed\nWhat Success Looks Like\nWithin the first 3-6 months, success looks like:\nYou’re building strong relationships across your territory and consistently showing up in person with accounts.\nYou’re growing the business through a mix of new account wins and expanding existing accounts.\nYou run brand-right line reviews and presentations that drive reorders and adoption.\nYour pipeline is healthy and updated, and your follow-through is reliable and on time.\nInternal teams trust you, communication is clear, orders are clean, and issues are flagged early.\nWhat You’ll Be Responsible For\nManage and grow an assigned book of green grass accounts across the territory\nBuild strong, long-term relationships with buyers, owners, and club professionals\nOpen new accounts and expand Bad Birdie’s footprint within the territory\nConduct in-person, brand-driven line reviews and product presentations\nIdentify sales opportunities through sell-through analysis and account performance\nMaintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently drive toward targets\nPartner with Sales Ops, Marketing, and Operations to support accounts\nHandle territory-related administrative tasks including order entry and follow-up\nUphold Bad Birdie’s brand standards and servicing expectations at all times\nWhat You Bring\n2+ years of experience within golf, apparel, sporting goods, or a related consumer industry\n1+ years of experience in outside, field, or territory sales\nStrong understanding of the golf industry and green grass channel\nExisting relationships with golf courses, private clubs, pro shops, buyers, or golf professionals within the territory\nExperience selling apparel, soft goods, or related products into golf accounts strongly preferred\nProven ability to build, manage, and grow client relationships\nProven ability to open new accounts and develop new business\nComfortable operating independently while staying aligned with a broader sales team\nStrong communication, organization, and time-management skills\nAbility to travel frequently within the territory\nPrevious independent sales representative experience is a
