This is to provide an independent route to address any issues within the Armament Intermediate Maintenance Workshop (AIMW) Shop maintenance environment.\nAid in reviews of maintenance and challenge current practices and identify potential capacity for improvements within the organisation.\nRecognising any malpractice that could affect the airworthiness or safety of the assigned components or personnel within their area of responsibility and raising the issue/concern to the Senior Maintenance Manager.\nHighlight any deficiencies with availability of facilities resources, in accordance with company policies to enable their organisations to perform their duties and any contractual obligations.\nAid in monitoring standards of the personnel within the organisation to identify any negative trends, non-conformities or motivational deficiencies.\nProviding a working environment of trust, where all employees of whom are professionals, each have a clear understanding of what standard of behaviour is considered acceptable or unacceptable, following the companies “Code of Conduct.”\nProvide consolidation and counterpart development activities to the RSAF personnel and BAE Systems personnel.\nEnsure all tasks are completed within designated timeframes to support Forward Maintenance and SMU activities.\nHighlight/ report on operational readiness of shop equipment in line with shop component repair plan and highlight necessary calibrations. Enhanced by ensuring the correct tooling, approved data is available. Raise appropriate media for deficiencies in approved data (e.g. TPRFs, TQs, etc.).\nEnsure you are authorised to undertake maintenance activities prior to commencing work.\nAny damage or deficiencies to equipment and infrastructure, are reported to the Primary Line Manager.\nMaintain an anti-FOD surveillance and report potential Hazards, which is further enhanced by the regular oversight checks of the shop and the components in the shop.\nEnsure all maintenance tasks are conducted and meet the highest quality standards, including recording of maintenance carried out on the airworthiness tool (ESS) to accurately reflect the work carried out, test results indications/ values, consumables and POL.\nConduct oversight checks to ensure high standards of shop husbandry.\nJob Requirements:\nEssential:\nA recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA.\nHave at least 5 years post qualification relevant experience supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training OR successful completion of BAESSA apprenticeship programme (SNTTP/ TSNTTP).\nRelevant equipment specific training.\nDemonstrate knowledge / understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering\nUnderstanding and application of human factors, error management, health and safety, and proactive hazard analysis appropriate to the role.\nThe successful candidate, Saudi or Expatriate must obtain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level, prior to starting the new role or commencing employment in KSA, SCE membership must be maintained throughout their employment in this role.\nDesirable:\nBroad Aerospace and defence company / industry knowledge.\nAn understanding of BAESSA engineering operating procedures.\nSAUDI NATIONAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS\n In return for the required high levels of commitment and hard work you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including a generous leave and leave allowance, a full health care scheme and access to discounted gym membership.\nBAE Systems\nBAE Systems has a heritage of commitment to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
