This is an excellent opportunityfor an aspiring finance professional to develop their career within a governance-focused finance environment. You will support the development of financial controls, governance reporting and assurance activities, while gaining exposure to data analytics, process improvement and business governance. The roleoffers excellent training and development opportunities, providing a solid foundation for future progression within finance.\nCore duties:\nSupport the development of standardised financial controlmetrics and reporting tools\nProvide assurance activities for delegation of authority processes and governance reporting\nConduct fraud risk analysisinvestigations and support associated reporting activities\nAssist with business continuity managementactivities and assurance validations\nSupport compliance with the information and records managementpolicy\nContribute to process improvement initiatives, including controlsmapping and data analysis\nDevelop process maps and enhance reporting capabilities across the team\nBecome a SharePoint Site Ownerto maintain a sites metadata and user access\nProvide support to the wider team on key deliverables during peak periods\nEssential Skills:\nPart-qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA, or AAT qualified / working towards an accounting qualification\nExperience working within a finance role\nUnderstanding of financial accounting principlesand accounting processes, including accounts payable, payroll and purchasing\nExcel skills, including the use of Power Query for reporting and analysis\nComfortable working with digital technologies\nExperience using Power BI and/or Tableau would be highly advantageous\nThe Governance Operations Team:\nThe Governance Operations Team sits within the UK and International Governance Capability Centre and plays a key role in supporting governance, financial controland assurance activities. As part of the team, you will gain valuable exposure to financial governance, reporting and data analytics while working on projects that support the wider business.
