This will ensure safety and processes are followed efficiently and in compliance with company policy and regulatory standards.\nCore duties:\nYou will observe and operate controlpanels including Supervisory Control& Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, CCTV and other monitoring systems\nYou will track real-time data, alarms and trends to detect anomalies or deviation from routine operations\nYou will conduct initial diagnosis of fault conditions, and escalate to relevant support functions, reset out of sequence faults, re-homing of robots & Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)\nYou will coordinate and oversee the integration of support personnel and facilities, coordinate maintenance, systems and production support to operation of the facility\nYou will maintain detailed logs of system activities, maintenance actions and incidents, managePermit to Work (PTW) in area of responsibility & coordinate managementof change\nYou will execute emergency shutdown procedures if required, assist in coordinating emergency response protocol\nEssential Skills:\nYou will hold a Science / Engineering degree, HNC / HND or equivalent; or time served apprenticeship in the process industry or relevant experience\nYou will be experienced in operations & monitoring systems in a controlroom environment\nYou will have proficiency and understanding of PLC systems, SCADA or Siemens TIA portal\nYou will have awareness of robotics/automation within multiple operational environments - training will be provided in this area\nYou will provide a sound understanding of Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis(PFMEA), Process ControlPlans, (PCP), and work instructions\nThe ControlRoom Team:\nThis is an opportunity for you to gain exposure to robotics & automation within a controlroom environment where training will be provided, where you will play a key role in ensuring safety and processes are adhered to across the whole Glascoed site and encouraging a safety culture.
