We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.\nBAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships.\nThe Electrical Systems Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, operating, maintaining and repairing Electrical systems, and components on the Hawk aircraft and support equipment.Using all resources available they will maintain aircraft to support the demands of the flying operation, thus ensuring delivery of serviceable aircraft to accomplish the contractual operational and flying commitments.\nThey will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, diagnosing faults and administrative support to the AMO as directed by the Electrical Supervisor; including but not limited to complying with all relevant company policies.\nEnsuring the Approved Maintenance Organisation is compliant with the requirements of the M&CA Mandates and Pt145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition with regards to maintaining aircraft, it’s components and resource SQEP levels.\nJOB ACCOUNTABILITIES\nWork Direction:\nIn this role the job holder will report to the following:\n\nRSAF Policies and procedures\n\nM&CA Mandates\n\nRects Maintenance Manager\n\nDecision-Making Authority:\nThe job holder may be required to make decisions on the following:\nAircraft fault identification, debrief and rectification\n\nAircraft maintenance scheduling\n\nMaintaining competency and ensuring SQEP levels are within the mandated limits\n\nScheduling of personal time to maintain the operational requirement\n\nPlanning / Organising:\nThe Job Holder will undertake the following activities as a minimum:\nThe position holder will be responsible for ensuring that BAE Systems maintenance support is delivered effectively to meet RSAF requirements and mitigate any activities likely to prejudice maintenance or safety, whilst remaining within the constraints the RSAF may apply to the Hawk Fleet.\n\nThey will be responsible for providing support to the Approved Maintenance Organsation (AMO) to ensure delivery of serviceable aircraft to TAGF in order to accomplish the contractual operational and flying commitments.\n\nThey shall be responsible for themselves and their peers, including training technicians and maintaining a strong safety culture whilst fault finding, repairing and delivering serviceable assets to maintain the customers daily flying programme.\n\nIn addition, the Electrical Technician is to provide accurate and up to date information to their Line Managers to ensure the ETIC schedule is achieved, ensuring solutions to any arising issues are identified and rectified during maintenance activities.\n\nEnsure the procedural compliance governing Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibration cycles, Support Equipment maintenance cycles, and the Tool Control system.\n\nInstalls, repairs, maintains, services, overhauls, modifies and tests on-aircraft systems.\n\nInspects; surveys; evaluates; installs; repairs; maintains; troubleshoots; services; overhauls; modifies and tests off-aircraft system components.\n\nBe able to work in close harmony in a mixed EE/SN workforce\n\nBe able to demonstrate sound oral and written two-way communication skills with the ability to be tactful, discreet and confident in dealing with people at all levels\n\nMust be a quality minded, mature, individual that adopts a positive and proactive approach to aircraft maintenance and support issues\n\nRECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION\nEssential:\nThe successful candidate, Saudi or Expatriate must obtain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level, prior to starting the new role or commencing employment in KSA, SCE membership must be maintained throughout their employment in this role.\n\nA recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA,\n\nRelevant type training (‘Q’ Course) and equipment specific training if\n\nOR\nPart 66 licensed (current or lapsed), or suitable equivalent technical license acceptable to M&CA\n\nRECRUITMENT\nEssential:\nHave extensive provenpost qualification practical maintenance experience within operational flying aircraft environment supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training ORextensive experience on same aircraft type OR successful completion of BAESSA apprenticeship programme (SNTTP/ TSNTTP).\n\nDemonstrate knowledge / understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering.\n\nUnderstanding and application of human factors, error management, health & safety and proactive hazard analysis, appropriate to the role.\n\nDesirable\nAn understanding of BAESSA engineering operating procedures.\n\nBroad aerospace and defence company / industry knowledge.\n\nEXPATRIATE EMPLOYEE BENEFITS\nIn return for the required high levels of commitment and hard work you will receive a competitive salary, rent free accommodation and access to free recreation facilities, all available within Company secured accommodation.
