You will be involved with the design, development, testing and integration of a variety of complex software systems. You will also have the opportunity to get involved in all stages of the software engineering lifecycle, from requirements through to release as well as support of in-service submarines.\nCore duties\nProduction of software architectures and designs based on each submarine’s requirements.\nImplementation of requirements and design utilising a variety of programming languages and tools.\nDesign and development of software tests to prove a number of qualities including; functionality, robustness, performance.\nTesting and integration of software and target hardware.\nSupport of lifecycle and product maturity activities such as design reviews.\nThe Submarines Team\nBe a part of designing, building, testing, and commissioning the Astute and Dreadnought Class, the largest and most advanced submarines operated by the Royal Navy, providing a powerful and secure deterrent for the United Kingdom.\nWhy BAE Systems\nHere you’ll build a career with purpose and limitless possibilities.
