Your work will help ensure that equipment is supportable, maintainable, and aligned with both engineering design and contractual requirements.\nCore duties:\nYou will apply provenanalysistechniques to systems and develop maintenance and procedures to understand Support requirements and develop solutions\nYou will work with a degree in technical autonomy, demonstrates a commitment to professional ILS/IPS principleswithin the analysisor maintenance disciplines\nYou will develop and produce specific ILS/IPS output consistent with the contractual requirements to meet target dates and budget demands (Delivery to time, quality and budget)\nYou will understand the pre-requisite inputs from other disciplines and functions which enable maintenance outputs to be achieved and presented\nYou will validate the work of other engineers (peer review) and develop their technical skills and understanding of key functional and project deliverables\nYou will communicate with customer representatives, classification authorities, suppliers and with other internal functions as necessary to discuss and resolve technical issues\nEssential skills:\nYou will have good knowledge of engineering principlesand understanding of the ILS/IPS suite of disciplines\nYou will bring knowledge and experience of either Electrical / Mechanical systems, to this role\nYou will be able to read and analyseschematic diagrams and technical documentation and analysetechnical problems and provide solutions within the digital environment\nYou will hold an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification with/or relevant experience\nThe Supply Support (ILS) Team:\nWorking collaboratively with Design Engineering, Supply Chain, OEMs, MoD DE&S and the wider Type26 & Royal Canadian Destroyer and Support Engineering community, you will analysesystem data, validate supportability outputs, and support the integration of logistic information across programme milestones.\nThe roleoperates within a hybrid working environment, offering flexibility in working hours and location while meeting the needs of the programme. This position is suited to someone who wants to influence in service support outcomes and contribute to one of the Royal Navy’s most significant shipbuilding programmes.
